Make a Friendly Papier Mache Beast

Get creative with the ultimate craft activity; papier mache and learn how to make your own colourful and friendly beast designed by illustrator Margaux Carpentier.

What you’ll need:
A newspaper
Masking tape or paper tape
A little bit of cardboard
PVA glue
Scissors
White water-based paint
Anything to decorate your beast: guache, tempura, acrylics, coloured paper or even biodegradable glitter

About Margaux Carpentier
Margaux Carpentier is London based artist who has worked across a wide range of projects such as murals, paintings and sculptures. She’s collaborated extensively with brands and organisations including the BBC, London Zoo and the V&A and exhibited at NOW Gallery in 2016. Revisit her show ‘The Heart of the Whale’ here
