Assembly Way Jack Taylor

  1. Back

A new mural by South East London illustrator Jack Taylor is now visible on hoardings on John Harrison Way, Greenwich Peninsula. Taylor’s vibrant figurative representation of new Peninsula communities celebrates his signature editorial style,  derived from a strong printmaking aesthetic. Taylor used aerosol paint and a palette of 8 vibrant colours to bring Assembly Way to life. The mural is perfectly situated next to Millennium Primary school and speaks to existing and future Peninsula residents.

‘My work looks towards storytelling and using engaging compositions to get my ideas across in a clever and coherent way. Function and purpose are also very important to me and my ideas usually stem from a problem I would like to solve. As of late I have found my work has taken a lot of influence from the shapes and patterns I see around me day to day, and I try to incorporate these motifs into the compositions I use and the ideas I have.’
