The People’s Picnic
3 – 5pm
After three months of brick making at NOW Gallery, where thousands have had the opportunity to make a Peninsula brick, the bricks will be made into a kiln and fired. Come and see the unpacking of the kiln and the finished bricks which will be displayed at NOW Gallery.
While away the afternoon with jazz by The Magic Lantern and Harry Christelis Quartet, build and ice a wall from tasty brick-shaped cakes made by The Robin Collective and enjoy tea served in Peninsula Garden. Bring a mug and a picnic blanket and enjoy the fruits of your labour, if you made a brick you might see it fired.

4.30pm: Viewing of the fired bricks at NOW Gallery
